Marcy Elliptical Trainer Review

You can trust my review, bad or good is your choice and i hope you can try to buy this product and then you know this product good or no. Next time you can make a review for another people.
I was trying to loose my baby weight and get back in shape after having our son and my (exercise addicted) brother-in-law said an elliptical was the best way to get your cardio in and burn calories. I researched for a couple weeks trying to decide which one to buy. I didn't want to spend too much just in case it became a coat rack as most exercise equipment ends up becoming. I also didn't want anything too huge because we have a small(ish) house. I finally decided on this one and am extremely satisfied with it. It was a little of a pain to put together, took me and my husband about an hour, but we kind of expected it to be. It has large foot pedals which is good because your feet tend to slip and seems very sturdy. After 3 months of (almost) daily use by 2 or more people it is still working great. It is relatively quiet (no squeaking) and moves smoothly. I like that you can change the resistant levels throughout your workout. You can really tell the difference when you move up a level! You do have to tighten the screws every now and then as they will start to loosen with the movement (we have only had to tighten them twice in three months). The only complaint is the computer calorie counter is WAY off. It says you burn like 1400 calories in 10 min which is hard to believe. Overall a great workout and great product.
**UPDATE**
After 15 months of pretty steady use (4 to 6 times a week) the elliptical started squeaking, ticking, clunking, and the computer is making a weird grinding noise when I start and stop the timer. I purchased it in Feb. 2011. It worked pretty quietly and smoothly (other than tightening the bolts every now and then it didn't need any maintenance) until October(ish) 2011 when I stepped it up to resistance level 10 and it started ticking (at all levels) but it wasn't too bad. In the end of March beginning of April I was going to workout and I noticed a greasy spot under one of the pedals. When I looked I saw there was cracked greasy washer laying on the ground underneath it. We examined it and couldn't figure out where it came from. It seemed to still be working ok but would squeak or tick randomly but it still wasn't too bad. Now (May 14, 2012) it is getting pretty loud and unstable. The warranty is a joke (they wanted me to pay shipping to send it to them for repair) but luckily I bought the Canopy Protection Plan (they will send me a gift card or check for the purchase price, the claims process took maybe 10 min tops and they were extremely helpful...I HIGHLY recommend buying the plan). I am not sure if I will get this one again or not, I really DO like it and feel like I get a good workout from it (seeing results) and we did get a lot of use out of it, but I think it should have lasted longer than a year and a half. I do know that whatever I get, I am definitely buying the Canopy plan.
