I spent quite a bit of time researching ellipticals to find the one that fit my needs the best. I sure am glad I chose the Smooth Fitness CE 3.0 DS! From assembly to long workouts, this machine is incredible. It took maybe an hour to put together and I was impressed with the quality of materials. I am a mechanical engineer by trade and found the instructions and parts to be of high quality. For a machine with a relatively small footprint and somewhat light weight(140 lbs), it is extremely stable, even at higher speeds. I am 6'1" and about 215 pounds and noticed only a slight bit of movement at higher "peddling" speeds. The different programs are great for different types of workouts and the ability to change from an elliptical to a stair stepper in less than a minute is a huge bonus. I use it about 4 times per week and have owned it for about 6 months and it is still as sturdy and quiet as the day I bought it. I would highly recommend this product to anyone looking for a sturdy, compact machine with lots of programs.
